why DNA is present in cytoplasm of procaryotic cells but in eukaryotic cell DNA is present in Nucleaus . Explain in detail.
Prokaryotes are unicellular organisms, which is lack membrane bound organelle. They do not have any organelle with membrane not even nucleus. Generally it have a single chromosome, a piece of circular, double-stranded DNA located in an area of the cell called the nucleoid. The nucleoid is present lying the cytoplasm.
but in eukaryotes, there is a proper membrane bound structure called nucleus which stores the DNA.
