Why DNA is present in cytoplasm in prokaryotic cell but in Eukaryotic cell DNA is present in nucleaus Explain in detail.
Prokaryotes are unicellular organisms which lack membrane bound organelle. They do not have any organelle with membrane not even nucleus. Generally it have a single chromosome, a piece of circular, double-stranded DNA located in an area of the cell called the nucleoid. The nucleoid is present lying the cytoplasm.
but in eukaryotes, there is a proper membrane bound structure called nucleus which stores the DNA.
