What is the meaning of Catalyst
A substance which can accelerate of decelerate a chemical reaction and make the change in the rate of reaction. They do not take part in the reaction and also can be recovered in the original form at the ending of reaction. A process in which the catalyst speeds up or slows down the chemical reaction is known as catalysist. Catalysts can be organic, synthetic or metal. A catalyst works that either changing the structure of a molecule or bonding the reactant molecule causing them to combine, react and release a product or energy.
