how can we hear our own voice after covering our ears
Sound propagates from one place to our ear via to and from motion of particles of medium. The outer ear called pinna is cover our ear such way that it collect the sound wave in send it to ear drum via the ear canal. The ear drum vibrates. These vibrations are amplified by the three bones of middle ears called hammer, anvil and stirrup. The middle ear transmits the sound wave to inner ear. In the inner ear sound waves are converted in to electrical signals by the cochlea and send it to brain through the auditory nerves and we hear the sound.
