GRAVITATION CONCEPT CLEARANCE
Is we can say gravitational force is equal to the weight of the body? yes or no? if yes then why our weight is not equal to zero when we are at rest?what is the acceleration due to gravity of the ball when ball is at rest on surface of ground?is the acceleration due to gravity of that same ball is same when it is in motion and what is its force due to gravity when it is in motion?
The direction of gravitational acceleration (g= 9.8m/s2) always downwards to the Earth. when you are at rest gravitational acceleration (g) will not equal to zero, then weight machine will find the weight f=mg (kg m/sec2), which downwards to the earth.
When the ball is at rest on the surface of ground the gravitational acceleration g=f/m where f=gravitational force experienced by the ball.
-NO, the acceleration due to gravity of that same ball is not same when it is in motion in the straight line by the any other external force.
