The dual nature of light means that, light behaves as a wave as well as a particle
wave nature in interference, diffraction, polarization and particle nature in photoelectric effect. According to the de-Broglie concept of matter waves, the matter has dual nature. It means when the matter is moving it shows the wave nature are associated with it and when it is in the state of rest then it shows particle nature.
